Aster unveils Grid 2.0 and Grid Marketplace for automated trading

Aster: Aster is a perpetual decentralized exchange offering CEX-grade trading tools rebuilt for on-chain perp markets. The platform recently introduced Grid 2.0 to let users run automated strategies alongside manual trading without interference. This update separates grid operations into dedicated subaccounts for independent margin and position management. Grid 2.0: Grid 2.0 is Aster's updated perpetual grid trading system that decouples automated grid strategies from regular perp positions. It supports both cross and isolated margin modes, enabling multiple concurrent grids on the same pair while maintaining separate risk controls. The feature also includes a marketplace for browsing, copying, or reversing existing grids. Grid Bot: Grid Bot is the dedicated subaccount environment on Aster for executing and managing grid strategies. It automatically handles margin transfers from the main perpetual account and tracks performance metrics such as matched profit and unrealized PnL separately. Grid Bot positions and orders remain isolated from the user's regular futures trading activity. Strategy Options: Users can operate one cross grid per trading pair or up to 50 isolated grids across the account, with the ability to add or remove margin while a grid is running. Margin Separation: Grid strategies run in dedicated subaccounts that transfer initial margin from the perpetual account, keeping grid positions and orders separate from manual trading.
