Aptos partners with Daehong to launch on-chain ticketing system

It powers Daehong’s Giftiel voucher service and is now being used to record ticket issuance on-chain to deter forgery and unauthorized distribution. Daehong: Daehong Communications is a marketing, advertising, and digital services subsidiary affiliated with South Korea’s Lotte Group. It developed the L.TICKET platform to enable unified booking of performances, exhibitions, and leisure activities. Daehong is extending its existing Aptos blockchain integration from digital vouchers to on-chain ticket issuance for improved security and traceability. Giftiel: Giftiel is a mobile digital voucher and coupon platform operated by a Daehong subsidiary. It has operated on the Aptos blockchain since 2025, managing the full lifecycle of issuance, distribution, and redemption. The service provides the foundation for Daehong’s expansion into blockchain-secured tickets and related products. Lotte Group: Lotte Group is a major South Korean conglomerate operating across retail, entertainment, hospitality, and consumer services. Through its Daehong affiliate, the group is applying blockchain technology to digital assets tied to its cultural and leisure offerings. Plans include linking L.TICKET with other Lotte affiliates’ assets for bundled experiences. Blockchain in Korea: South Korean firms and government-linked entities are actively piloting blockchain for vouchers, payments, and consumer services to enhance transparency and efficiency.
