Airbus wins 25-year cybersecurity contract from French Ministry of Armed Forces

Through this unit, the company was awarded the PARACOM contract by the French Directorate General of Armament to design, produce, and maintain cybersecurity gateways. The selection highlights Airbus's established expertise in multi-level data-sharing technologies for defense networks. French Ministry of the Armed Forces: The French Ministry of the Armed Forces manages national defense operations and veterans' affairs, including oversight of military information systems. It has selected Airbus Cybersecurity to deliver gateways that enable secure, filtered data exchanges across networks with different classification levels. The systems will support both fixed sites and deployed operations in various tactical environments. Cyber Defense Initiative: The PARACOM gateways are designed to serve as a cornerstone of the Ministry's cybersecurity by handling data exchanges from secret to unclassified levels. Defense Technology Partnership: Airbus Defence and Space leads the effort, with the gateways available in multiple configurations for data centers, command posts, and mobile platforms including vehicles and aircraft.
